My Approach

I offer counselling that is collaborative, compassionate and grounded in respect for each person's unique experience, with a strong focus on emotional safety and authentic connection in the counselling relationship. My work draws from mainly from person-centred, trauma-informed and relational approaches, while recognising that emotional wellbeing is shaped by the whole person, including mind, body, relationships and lived experience. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I aim to create a space where people can explore their experiences openly and at a pace that feels supportive and meaningful.

Whether you are seeking to develop coping strategies for difficult emotions and experiences, nervous system regulation, make sense and meaning of yourself, life and events, improve communication with others or decrease rumination or anxious thinking, I can support you to make positive progress.

I meet people where they need to be met, whether their needs are emotional, cognitive, physiological, spiritual, or all of these intertwined.
